ERA Administrator Courtney Hempton passed away unexpectedly at the beginning of November
Courtney Hempton, a beloved member of the ERA family and key connect point for ERA members, passed away unexpectedly earlier this month. Courtney was the linchpin of the ERA initiative for the last six years, and was known for her dedication to emerging researchers. She worked closely with other stakeholders in the field to ensure that ERA conferences, virtual seminars and workshops met the needs of members. She was greatly missed at the ERA 2022 conference in the week after her passing. Our condolescences to her family, friends and colleagues.
