ERA is delighted to announce that Associate Professor Michelle Duffy will join us for the final Virtual Seminar of 2017 -

A 'how to' discussion regarding Participatory Action Research

This Virtual Seminar will involve an informal and interactive discussion with Associate Professor Michelle Duffy, who will share some of her experiences regarding Participatory Action Research, including how to identify and foster partnerships, how to determine a research agenda with partners (including with people who haven't participated in research before, along with a discussion of the challenges and opportunities that arise from using this rich methodology.

Michelle Duffy is Associate Professor in Human Geography at the University of Newcastle. Prior to this she worked as a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Federation (Gippsland) and Monash (Gippsland) Universities. Michelle has extensive experience in qualitative research methodologies including Participatory Action Research.
